Remote Emergency Care (REC) First Aid
Remote Emergency Care Outdoor Courses
- Working outdoors in remote areas?
- Involved in outdoor pursuits?
- Need a high level qualification as a sports coach or trainer?
Our Remote Emergency Care courses are a modular series of courses that require no prior training or experience. You can book your Remote Emergency Care First Aid Course online, or call us to discuss a bespoke course for your employees, instructors or trainers.
This is a one-day practical course focusing on first response skills - the skills required to deal with a life threatening incident. This course like all our Remote Emergency Care courses takes you out of the classroom and involves hands on practices including outdoor scenarios.
This is a two-day (16hr) course that is recognised by many outdoor activity governing bodies including the BCU, Mountain Training, and RYA. On this course we focus on dealing with incidents far from medical help with minimum equipment you will be carrying whilst in the outdoors. Again this course has an emphasis on the practical and we get out the classroom for outdoor scenarios.
This is one day extension to the level 2 course trains you in additional skills, including the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
